 HOW IT HAPPENED
  • With the Fighting Owls needing a win to stay in the hunt for a conference title, the Harford showed up in a big way to post a massive shut out.
  • Harford goalkeeper Michael Nelson had one of his best performances of the season with eight saves.
  • Harford took the lead late in the first half when midfielder Kayn Cambden hit a beautiful long ball to Corey Alt as the speedy forward scored his third goal in two games.
  • The Fighting Owls doubled their lead early in the second half as it was once again Cambden who put in a great through ball to Anotonio Savi as the prolific forward scored his conference leading 18th goal of the year.
  • Harford's situation got a bit nerve racking when Henrique Castilho picked up a second yellow in the 76th minute and forced the Fighting Owls to play a man down for the final 15 minutes of the game.
  • Fortunately for the Fighting Owl faithful, Harford was able to hold on and secure their biggest win of the season so far.
