Harford Wins Tenth Straight to Start Season

  • The Short Story: The Fighting Owls finished the fall semester a perfect 10-0 after another dominating performance in their 97-36 victory over Rowan-Burlington.

 HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Fighting Owls went down 3-2 early in the game before rattling off a 25-2 run in an impressive first quarter.
  • Harford went off against at the end of the second quarter and into the third quarter with a 24-2 run with the Fighting Owls showing off the impressive depth of their team.
  • Five Harford played reached double digit points led by Adrienne Jones with 19 including five makes from long range.while Joy Morton scored 16 points with six rebounds and five assists off the bench.
  • Elaija Demeza and Ryan Holder each added 12 points while Shantel McCray-Cheeks scored 11.
  • All 11 Harford players that stepped on the court scored in the game capped by Alexis Moore making a pair off free throws in the final minute of the game to insure the feat.
  • Harford was incredible from the charity stripe, making 23 of 25 free throus in the contest with eight different Fighting Owls contributing to the remarkable production.
