 HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Fighting Owls started out very slowly for the second time in as many games and were trailing 10-8 after the first quarter.
  • Point guard Shawnkia McCallum continued to struggle with cramps for a second straight game and played in limited first half minutes and none in the second half.
  • With Harford needing someone to step up, the answered call came from Joy Morton and Elaija DeMeza who both had big performances off the bench.
  • Adrienne Jones was the offensive catalyst of the night with 21 points as she carried the team to victory.

  • Harford will not play the scheduled third game of the Title IX DC Classic due to Motlow State deciding to withdraw from the tournament.
  • The Fighting Owls' next game will be a road trip to Lehigh Carbon to take on the 5-8 Cougars in Schnecksville, PA.
