HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The result of the game was never in question as Harford outscored their opponents 37-9 in the first 10 minutes.
  • With the Cardinals only having six players in uniform for the game, the Fighting Owls were able to tire their opponents out and effectively utilized their potent fast paced offense.
  • None benefited from this more then Dominique Walker, whose 31 points were almost entirely from lay-ups as she owned the paint.
  • Daisa Harris was not to be forgotten, as she dropped 27 points while matching Walker with 8 rebounds.
  • Danielle Durjan scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds as she continues to grow into her point guard duties.
  • With forward Dahnye Redd still unable to suit up, Nicole Sharpe made her first start of the season and rewarded coach Seney's faith with a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds with nine of the boards coming from the offensive side.
  • Nazje Norton continues to be a potent scoring threat off the bench as she scored 13 points and is averaging over 13 points per game over the last three contests.

GAME QUOTES AND NOTES:
  • Head Coach Mike Seney: "I thought we came out so strong and it was just beautiful basketball. We have been stressing to our ladies to start the game better and they answered the call tonight. This was a total team effort, however Dominique Walker and her tenacity she plays with makes us so dangerous. Hopefully we continue the strong play this weekend."
  • Sophomore forward Dominique Walker: "As we come closer as a whole, we are doing better as a team and it is showing on the court. We have been slacking recently, but now it is time to pick it up and that's what we are going to do."
  • Coach Seney has now won all 48 contests as the Harford head coach against conference opponents in his career.
  • Daisa Harris scored 20+ points for the 16th time this season and the 6th consecutive game doing so. Harris leads the NJCAA Division I with 556 points scored this season as well as steals per game with 4.1.
  • Dominique Walker's incredible performance helped increase her lead for best field goal percentage in the country with 67.0%.
