HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Harford went up against the host of the tournament in the semi-finals after Chesapeake upset Montgomery in the quarter-finals.
  • Daisa Harris was not about to let that magic continue as she scored 21 points in the opening 10 minutes in one of the most incredible displays of dominance.
  • The Skipjacks never held a lead in the game as Harford struck early and often with a 31-15 advantage after the first quarter and 62-23 at halftime.
  • Harris continued to control the game as she was unstoppable and was pulled from the game after hitting a couple of free throws to score a record breaking 48 points.
  • Somewhat overshadowed in the game was how good Danielle Durjan was, with 19 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds along with a couple of blocks.
  • Adrienne Jones also had a big game with 13 points and 3 steals as she has really stepped up her game since returning to the starting line up.

GAME QUOTES AND NOTES:
  • Harris' 48 points was the most in a single game in Harford women's basketball history. The previous record was 46 set by Capree Garner on November 12, 2013 against Delaware Tech.
  • Dominique Walker was just shy of another double-double with 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks as she continues to add to her program records for career rebounds and blocks.

UP NEXT:
  • Harford advances to the conference finals where they will take on Baltimore City.
