HOW IT HAPPENED

Playing in their second game in as many days in upstate New York, the Fighting Owls did everything they could to compete with the team that seems all but unbeatable.
Monroe scored 13 goals in the first half, but Harford scored four goals in return led by Courtney Poole with a first half hat trick.
Nina Urban scored a goal on either side of halftime with Kelsie Davis and Sierra Donovan also adding second half goals.
Erica Wright came up with 13 saves as she was under pressure for much of the game.
Karlie Abbott came up with a very impressive eight ground balls in the game from the midfield.

UP NEXT:

Harford will return to Maryland as they travel to #5 Anne Arundel on Tuesday, March 25 for a 5 PM game.
The Riverhawks are 4-1 on the season with their only loss coming against powerhouse Onondaga.
