  • The Short Story: The Harford softball team fought hard against a really good Cardinals team, but was only able to score a single run in the doubleheader loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME 1
  • Harford was shut out in the first game as they scattered five hits over seven innings.
  • Catonsville scored three runs in the first inning off a couple of errors and another run in the third.
  • Lindsay Bowler and Caroline Frank each tallied a couple of hits with Emily Bowler also adding a single.
  • Alexis Valentine pitched all seven innings, giving up just two earned runs with a walk and a strikeout.
GAME 2 
  • Harford kept the Cardinals scoreless over the first four innings of the game as Emily Bowler was in a groove.
  • After Catonsville got their offense going, Harford was only able to respond with a run in the seventh inning on an RBI double by E. Bowler.
  • Alexis Valentine earned a couple of hits and scored the lone run.
UP NEXT 
  • Harford will have no time to rest as they host Cecil on Friday, April 14 at 2 PM.
