Box Score HOW IT HAPPENED Harford was plagued by turnovers throughout the contest as they finished with 40 as a team including 11 by Luigi Ascenzi. The Fighting Owls were ahead at halftime thanks to four goals in the second quarter including Nick Esser's second of the game, Austin Johnston, Brandon Johnston, and Kasey Davenport. Ascenzi did manage a goal and an assist in the second half as he provided Davenport in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime. Face-off ace Chris Parrott was called for a violation to start the extra period as the Fighting Owls never touched the ball in overtime. Goal keeper Jacob Laubner did rack up 14 saves in the game but the Harford offense that has been decimated by injuries proved ineffective in the contest. UP NEXT: Harford will attempt to bounce back as they host Delaware Tech on Wednesday, April 19 at 4 PM.
