HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Fighting Owls struggled in the first half as the teams went into the break tied 5-5 with the defense struggling to work together and the offense unable to find the back of the net.
  • All of those issues seemed to flip in the second alf as the whole team was firing on all cylinders.
  • Harford's transition offense was very effective as the attack buried some good shots and the defense caused a lot more turnovers.
  • The Fighting Owls played the second half with great hustle and the scoreboard certainly reflects that in a good win for the team.
  • Courtney Poole led the Harford effort with six goals on the day as she is now fourth in the nation with 20 goals for the season.
  • Nina Urban tallied four goals and two assists as she is second in the country with 23 goals on the year.
  • Kelsie Davis added two goals and three assists and Sierra Donovan earned her first hat trick of the year.

UP NEXT:
  • Harford will now prepare for perhaps their biggest regular season game as they get set to host Howard on Tuesday, April 4 for a 5 PM game.
  • The #2 ranked Dragons are 8-0 on the season including a win against powerhouse Onondaga and are 3-0 in conference play with victories over Frederick, Essex, and Anne Arundel.
