The Short Story: The Harford women's lacrosse team won a second consecutive victory against a New York opponent as they knocke out Suffolk in a high scoring affair.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Fighting Owls struggled in the first half as the teams went into the break tied 5-5 with the defense struggling to work together and the offense unable to find the back of the net.
All of those issues seemed to flip in the second alf as the whole team was firing on all cylinders.
Harford's transition offense was very effective as the attack buried some good shots and the defense caused a lot more turnovers.
The Fighting Owls played the second half with great hustle and the scoreboard certainly reflects that in a good win for the team.
Courtney Poole led the Harford effort with six goals on the day as she is now fourth in the nation with 20 goals for the season.
Nina Urban tallied four goals and two assists as she is second in the country with 23 goals on the year.
Kelsie Davis added two goals and three assists and Sierra Donovan earned her first hat trick of the year.

Harford will now prepare for perhaps their biggest regular season game as they get set to host Howard on Tuesday, April 4 for a 5 PM game.
The #2 ranked Dragons are 8-0 on the season including a win against powerhouse Onondaga and are 3-0 in conference play with victories over Frederick, Essex, and Anne Arundel.
