HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME 1
  • The Fighting Owls went up against the hapless and easily controlled the game from the first pitch.
  • Lindsay Bowler, Emily Bowler and Emily Wikane all had two hit games while Caroline Frank went 3-3 including a triple to right field as Harford spread the wealth around the lineup.
  • E. Bowler had little trouble with the Raptors bats, giving up five hits and no walks over five innings with six strikeouts.
GAME 2 
  • Harford completed the double header shut out with a 14-0 score in the finale.
  • The Fighting Owl bats were especially impressive in the bottom of the fourth where they scored nine runs on eight hits including four doubles to ensure the game would only last five innings.
  • Emily Bowler pitched all five innings again, this time allowing four hits but racked up 10 strikeouts with no walks in the dominant outing.
UP NEXT 
  • With their regular season schedule finished, the Fighting Owls will head to South Carolina for the regional tournament that starts on April 21 where they will face USC Salkehatchie in the first round.
  • The Indians are 14-26 on the year as Harford will look to send the hosts home early.
