  • The Short Story: The Fighting Owl bats broke out in a big way as they crushed the ball up and down the line up against the Jersey Blues.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Ryan Shinn hit his third and fourth home runs in two days in just the first two innings of the game.
  • Tre Todd hit a pair of three run bombs as finished the game 3-4 with eight RBIs.
  • Peyton Sorrels and Ryan Calhoun also tallied three hit games as Harford pounded out 19 hits in six innings of at bats.
  • Perhaps the best moment of the game was a pinch hit appearance by fan favorite Thomas Hojnacki who hit a monster grand slam over the scoreboard in left center field for his first collegiate home run.
  • Jordi Arias got on base in all five of his at bats with two hits and three walks.
  • Joe Smeton picked up his first career win going 2.1 innings out of the bull pen giving up one run with a couple of strike outs.
UP NEXT
  • Harford will close out their regular season conference schedule with a double header against CCBC Essex on Friday, April 28 at 5 PM.
  • The Knights are 10-23 on the year and sit in 14th place with a 5-13 conference record.
