Seven Home Runs For Harford in Win

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Fighting Owls enjoyed a day of great offense as seven home runs led to 31 runs for the home team.
  • Peyton Sorrels continued his hot streak with a 4-4 day with two home runs, two doubles, three runs, and seven RBIs.
  • Other Harford sluggers to bomb home runs in the game included Ryan Shinn, Luke Johnson, Ryan Calhoun and Jordi Arias hitting his first bomb of the year.
  • The highlight of the day was pitcher Michael Devecchio who was a defensive replacement in right field and given an opportunity to hit in the sixth inning which he destroyed over the left field fence for a home run in his first at bat of the season.
  • With the Fighting Owls able to rotate out some players, Harford had 14 different players record at least one hit in the game.
  • Ronnie Krsolovic was handed his second start of the season and pitched five innings allowing five hits and two unearned runs with two strikeouts and one walk to get his second win of the season. Krsolovic maintains a perfect 0.00 ERA for the season on the mound.
  • Tre Wilson came in relief to finish out the game as he went two innings giving up a couple of hits with three strikeouts and no runs.
UP NEXT:
  • Harford will host Prince George's on Tusday, April 4 at 6:30 PM in an Md Juco matchup.
  • The other Owls are 10th in the conference with a 3-6-1 record but are coming off a big sweep over Montgomery on Sunday.
