Fighting Owls get revenge over last week's tie

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Peyton Sorrels continued to be an important part of the Harford offense as he was directly involved in the first five runs the Fighting Owls scored.
  • Sorrels scored on a wild pitch in the first inning, got an RBI fielder's choice in the second, then hit a three run bomb in the fourth.
  • Adam Rapp followed that up with a two run shot to right field in the sixth inning for his sixth home run of the year.
  • The Fighting Owls were able to invoke the mercy rule in the bottom of the seventh with Ryan Shinn earning an RBI single and later scored along with Ronnie Krsolovic scoring on a throwing error.
  • Truman Thomas was phenomenal as he threw six innings, giving up two hits and one walk with nine strikeouts.
UP NEXT:
  • Harford will host Cecil College on Thursday, April 6 at 7 PM in a third straight day of Md Juco baseball.
  • The Seahawks are 12-13 on the year and 9-2 in conference play as they currently sit in third place for the Md Juco.
