 HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Harford got the scoring started early in the contest as Mackenzie Forsythe pounced on a rebounded shot and buried it into the net less than a minute into the contest.
  • Forsythe scored again 10 minutes later as Briana Stabile put in an excellent through ball to set Forsythe free on the Southern Maryland goal.
  • Alexandria Adams capped off the first half scoring with a great header off a Kasie Lambert corner kick to make it a 3-0 Harford lead after 23 minutes of play.
  • Rachel Bohli put in a great pass to Forsythe early in the second half to complete the hat trick with a fourth goal coming later in the half from a great Mackenzie Wills cross.
  • Wills also put one in the net from a nice Adams pass inside the box then Kassidy Webster joined in on the goal parade with a tap in off a deflected shot.
  • Stabile scored her first of the game 75 minutes into play with some great team passing which was shortly followed by a Jacklyn Barbon goal to put Harford up 9-0.
  • Southern Maryland got their lone shot on a breakaway in the final minutes of the game that goalkeeper Crystal Kline bravely dealt with.
  • Harford ultimately out-shot the Hawks 55-1 in a very one sided affair.
