 HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Fighting Owls trailed the Riverhawks 2-0 before going on a 15-0 run in a dominant first quarter for Harford.
  • Elaija DeMeza was on fire early with 16 points in the second quarter and 22 in the first half on her way to a career high 27 for the game.
  • Alexis Moore earned her first career double-double with career highs of 16 points and 12 rebounds.
  • Janiece Loney scored 18 points starting in place of an ailing Adrienne Jones while Destinee McQueen added 11.
  • Joy Morton fell just short of a second career triple-double as she closed with nine points, eight assists and seven rebounds.
