Bel Air, Md. – The Harford Fighting Owls finished 1-1 in their tri-match on Saturday, sweeping Rhode Island before being swept by Richard Bland to cap off the day.
When the dust was settled Harford moved to 13-10 while Richard Bland jumped to 13-4 and Rhode Island (CCRI) fell to 11-11.

Game 1: Harford wins 3-0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-19)
The Fighting Owls dominated the opening set to give themselves the early advantage. Harford's 14 kills powered them through a close middle set, while CCRI's 13 errors doomed them to sweep at the hands of the ladies in blue.

Game 2: Richard Bland wins 3-0 (12-25, 17-25, 14-25)
Harford faced a very game Richard Bland in their final match, falling in straight sets to the Statesman. The Fighting Owls battled for each point and hung tough with Richard Bland, who made the trip up north to face Harford for the first time in school history.

Faith Hill earned seven assists in match while Allison Hallameyer chipped in 13 assists.
