Bel Air, Md. – For the fifth-straight year, the Harford Fighting Owls' season has come to an end in the District Championship game at the hands of the Monroe Mustangs.
Harford ends its 2018 campaign with a 14-13 record, while Monroe (14-9) moves on to the District L/M Championship.

Set 1: Monroe
(8-25)
A dominant early showing from the Mustangs, who hit at a .708 clip while committing zero errors on their way opening set win.
Katelyn Berger and
Maria Lopez led Harford offensively with two kills each during the set.
Set 2: Monroe (19-25)
The middle set would be the most competitive of the evening due to Monroe's attacking and service errors. Harford would come close to taking the lead several times, but the Mustangs powered through to earn the win.
Set 3: Monroe (6-25)
The final set proved to be much like the first, as the Mustangs would rattle off several long runs on their way to a sweep of the Fighting Owls.
