Niceville, Fla. – The Pensacola State Pirates showed off their shooting prowess from the floor to defeat the Harford Fighting Owls, 104-63, Friday night inside The Arena at Northwest Florida State.

Kenneth Sumpter came off the bench to lead the Fighting Owls in scoring with 15 points, while
Jaedon Willis trailed slightly behind with 14 points and a team high five rebounds.
Harford dug themselves into a hole early, trailing 33-6 with under nine minutes to go in the first half. A 15-10 stretch over the next three minutes gave the men in blue life, but the Pirates closed out the first with a run of their own to enter halftime up 57-27.
The Fighting Owls performed much better in the second half, but the Pirates held firm, outscoring Harford 47-36 to see out the victory.
Pensacola shot 67.2% from the field (39-of-58) while holding the Fighting Owls to 30.6% (19-of-62) in Harford's first trip to Florida since 2016.
Harford drops to 2-1 for the season while Pensacola improves to 4-0.
