Seney Earns 70th Consecutive Conference Win

Bel Air, Md. – Harford head women's basketball coach Mike Seney captured his 70th straight win against Md Juco conference opponents on Wednesday night, as the #23 Fighting Owls steamrolled the Anne Arundel Riverhawks 113-35.

Seney and company never left the final result in doubt, with all eight Fighting Owls who saw the floor contributing at least 10 points. In addition to scoring 25 points or more in all four quarters, Harford locked down the glass (season-high 70 rebounds) while nearly reaching their season watermark in steals after grabbing 22 against the Riverhawks.

Redshirt-Sophomore forward Dahnye Redd led the ladies and blue on the court, producing 31 points and 20 boards for her ninth straight double-double.

Sophomore guard Ayanna Mazyck secured her first double-double of the season (15 points, 10 rebounds) while Jewel Porter claimed her fourth (10 points, 10 rebounds).

"We've had a ton of really good athletes over the past four years," Seney remarked after the game. "This milestone is a tribute to everyone that has worn a Harford jersey during this stretch."
