HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1

  • Michael Richardson's RBI triple in the bottom of the third helped Harford secure a 3-1 lead.
  • The Fighting Owls would hold the Raptors to just two runs the rest of the way while scoring six of their own in the final three innings to secure a 9-3 victory

  • Harford also received strong contributions from the bullpen as Antonio Buckley and Justin Fox would allow no hits in 2 2/3 innings of relief.
GAME 2
  • Both Harford and Montgomery's bats remained silent for the first couple of innings as the two teams could only muster one hit a piece.
  • After allowing the Raptors a 1-0 lead in the third Harford's bats came alive, as Lou Testa's two home runs sparked a 13-run circus in the bottom of the inning.
  • Ryan Calhoun's RBI double off the left field wall drove in Nolan Charlton to give the men in blue a commanding 14-1 lead that would see them through to a five inning mercy rule victory.
  • Zach Guth allowed just one hit and struck out five through four innings to garner his fourth win of the season.
  • Calhoun finished a perfect 4-4 at the plate and brought in three runs. Testa drove in four off of his two home runs while Spencer Smith had three RBIs.
