  • The Short Story: Alexis Valentine's no-hitter gave Harford the win in game one, while Caroline Frank's RBI triple completed the Fighting Owls comeback with a 13-12 walk off win in game two.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME 1
  • Alexis Valentine (8-3) was flawless from the mound, tossing a no-hitter in Harford's 15-0 win.
  • Valentine supported her own cause at the plate, driving in five of Harford's 15 runs in the game.
  • Alexis Mack led all batters with her 4-4 day at the dish while bringing home four runs.
GAME 2
  • Harford and Southern Maryland traded the lead several times through the first five innings and were deadlocked at 8-8 heading into the sixth.
  • The Hawks would play keep away with the lead for the next two innings and left the Fighting Owls trailing 12-10 with three outs left
  • Big hits from Olivia Gallimore, Chloe Moyer and Alexis Mack allowed Harford to tie the game at 12-12.
  • With the game on the line Caroline Frank smashed a triple to right field which allowed Alexis Mack to score from first to give Harford a walk-off 13-12 win.
UP NEXT
  • Harford remains at home to face Monroe College in a four game series, starting with a doubleheader on Thursday, April 12 at 5 PM.
  • The Fighting Owls split a four game series with Monroe back on March 3-4.
