The Short Story: The Fighting Owls celebrated their six sophomores in a chilly Sophomore Day ceremony before cruising to their first shut out victory of the season over their cross town rivals from Essex.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Fighting Owls' celebration of their sophomore class of 2018 was the most dramatic part of the contest as Harford scored twice in the first 40 seconds of the game and never looked back.
The Harford sophomores showed off their talents as Kelsie Davis and Courtney Poole each had three goals and one assist.
Nina Urban scored three goals along with five draw controls while sophomore speedster Mackenzie Wills scored her fifth goal of the season.
Cidney Gray and Natalie Neff continued their trend of leading a dominating defensive line, with Gray adding two goals and an assist while Neff chipped in two assists.
Goalkeeper Brooke Siebert made 10 saves to record her first career shutout and help bring Harford one win away from clinching at least a share of the Md Juco Conference Championship.

UP NEXT

Harford will face the College of Southern Maryland on Tuesday, April 24 at 4 PM for the Fighting Owls's regular season finale.
The Southern Maryland Hawks are 0-9 on the season and 0-8 in conference including an 18-1 loss at Harford earlier in the season.
