The Fighting Owls women's tennis team took on Kutztown and Salisbury this week, sending the Bears packing with a 6-3 win on Wednesday before falling to the Seagulls 8-1 Sunday.

Harford would take two of three from the Bears in women's doubles, including an 8-1 win from Maria Rey and Kyning Tillinghast at the #1 spot. Tillinghast 6-0, 6-0 win in #2 singles proved to be one of her stronger showings so far this season. 

Rey, Rosario Bove, and Jenna Hathazi also picked up singles wins to elevate Harford to a 6-3 victory.

Salisbury proved to be a much tougher opponent for the Fighting Owls on Sunday. The combination of Rey and Tillinghast provided the lone win for the ladies in blue, taking down the Seagulls #1 doubles pairing 8-3. In singles, Rey would not go away quietly, giving Annika Kezman all she could handle before falling 6-4, 6-4 at the #1 spot.
