Seney Sails to 75th Straight Conference Win

Loney and Co. Bury Panthers in 91-58 Rout

Bel Air, Md. – The Harford women's basketball team battered longtime rival Baltimore City on Tuesday night, speeding past the Panthers 91-58.

Sophomore sharpshooter Janiece Loney was on point from distance, scoring 18 of her team leading 22 points from three. The Harford guard also finished with a game-high six assists.

The win bumps head coach Mike Seney up to 75-straight conference wins during his tenure as the lead man for the Fighting Owls.

Harford improves to 21-1 (9-0) with the win. Baltimore falls to 11-9 (6-2) after the defeat.

Turning Point
After a very tense opening quarter the Fighting Owls offense went berserk, tallying 23 points in the second and 35 in the third. The Panthers could not keep up with the pace and scored just 24 points over that same 20-minute stretch.

A trio of Loney threes sparked Harford's run in the second quarter, while Ayanna Mazyck's 4-for-4 performance from downtown led the ladies in blue during the third.
