NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Harford competed in its second two-day tournament of 2019 over the weekend, dropping a quartet of contests against some stiff competition.
The Fighting Owls (11-9) had won eight straight games coming into the tournament, which was hosted by Monroe College. Harford's opponents include the Mustangs (15-8) as well as Grand Rapids (21-6), Richard Bland (13-11) and Montgomery (15-3).
Despite the 0-4 performance, a number of Fighting Owls had stellar weekends.
Katelyn Berger tallied 30 kills and
Maria Lopez earned 26. In addition, freshman
Maddy Weyer recorded at least 14 assists in each affair.
