BEL AIR, Md. – Montgomery's four second half goals minimized a brilliant first 45 minutes out of Harford, as the Fighting Owls fell to the Raptors, 4-2, Tuesday evening at Harford Stadium.
An early put back goal by
Ilario Ercole flung Harford ahead 1-0 early doors. The Fighting Owls then fought off a potent Montgomery attack for the rest of the half to take a lead into the break.
The Raptors finally broke through in the 50
th minute with a goal, then pilled on three more over the next 20 minutes to take a 4-1 lead.
Jake Edwards second career goal gave Harford late life, but Montgomery held firm to earn the win.
Harford falls to 7-8 (4-6 Md Juco) on the year. Montgomery jumps to 13-4 (9-2).
