BEL AIR, Md. – Harford dropped its second game of the Harford Hoops Classic Saturday night, falling to the Monroe Mustangs, 86-64.
Despite the loss, Harford had a much better showing compared to the two team's clash back in late November.
Rashaad Anderson led the Fighting Owls for the second straight night with 14 points and six rebounds, while
Ethan Sommer (13 pts., 5 reb.) and
David Glenn (12 pts., 7 ast., 5 reb.) followed closely behind.
Harford drops to 4-9 after the loss, while Monroe improves to 10-3.
Turning Point
The Fighting Owls pulled within nine of Monroe at the under eight mark, but the Mustangs would close out the game with a 17-5 run. Harford could only muster up two made field goals during this stretch, while Monroe went 5-for-15 and 6-for-8 from the free throw line.

- Redshirt freshman Anthony Ifeacho topped the team in steals and blocks.
- Monroe outrebounded Harford, 51-29. As a result, the Mustangs had 18 second chance points compared to just two from the Fighting Owls.
