Sumter, S.C. – The Fighting Owls dropped its first game of a four-game road trip, falling to the USC Sumter 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Reyce Curnane led Harford at the plate with a 2-for-2 performance. Jake Wyandt also impressed, finishing 2-for-3 with a double. Harford's arms limited the Fire Ants to just a pair of hits but saw both runs scored off an infield error and a dropped fly ball.

Sumpter improves to 6-3 with the win, while Harford falls to 1-2 after the loss.
