Sumter, S.C. – The Wake Tech Eagles plated four runs in the first two innings, then held off Harford late to secure a 6-5 win, Sunday afternoon at Riley Park.
With neither team able to record an extra base hit, the Eagles and Fighting Owls scored seven of their combined 11 runs on sacrifice fly out, passed ball or walk. In addition, 24 walks were issued between the two teams in the seven inning affair.
Wake Tech improves to 7-3 with the win, while Harford falls to 3-3
