- The lone meeting between the two teams this season came back on Feb. 5. Allegany overcame a 16-point halftime deficit, outscoring Harford 57-36 in the final 20 minutes to escape Bel Air with an 85-80 win.
- Allegany was scheduled to play Harford on Jan. 12, but back out of the date due to weather concerns.
Fighting Owls at a Glance
- In his 5th season as head coach, Mike Smelkinson has already staked his claim the winningest men's basketball coach in program history. Smelkinson captured the 100th victory of his Harford tenure back on Jan. 25 in a 100-80 defeat of Chesapeake.
- Harford return two guards from last year's Maryland Junior College Conference Tournament winning squad; Isaiah Boggs and Khalil Williams-Diggins.
- Led by freshman Jaedon Willis and Naquan Williams-Day, the Fighting Owls have proven to be one of the most efficient groups from three-point range in the conference. Harford has made over one-third (35.9%) of its attempts from distance, good enough for second in all of Maryland JUCO.
- Willis is also Harford's leading scorer at 18.8 points per game. Behind him is sophomore transfer Devin Smith (13.4 ppg) and Williams-Day (11.3).
- Among all 15 teams in the conference, Harford ranks within the top five in points, steals, and three-point field goal percentage.
