Bel Air, Md. – Dahnye Redd scored her 1000
th career point in a Harford uniform, as the Fighting Owls decimated the Allegany Trojans 149-30.
Redd joins the elite quartet of Ashley Smith,
Capree Garner,
Tiffany Taylor and Daisa Harris as the only Harford women's basketball players reach 1000 points. She is the first to reach this mark since Harris did so in Harford's 2016-17 season. Redd was also a member of that team, which won the program's first game in the NJCAA National Championships.
Harford's 149 points also breaks its old single-game points record of 146, set back in the aforementioned 2016-17 season. The NJCAA scoring record for most points in a game is 183, set by ASA back in 2013.
