Bel Air, Md. –
Jordyn Smith's two-out home run capped off a dramatic 6-5 walk-off win for Harford over Catonsville, Thursday evening at the Harford Sports Complex.
Smith's home run came just minutes after
Matthew Shilling tied the game at 5-5 with a two-RBI blast to center. A groundout following the homer put Smith at the plate with one out remaining. He'd make the most of the opportunity, driving a pitch by Catonsville reliever Trevor Smoot over the left field wall to complete Harford's comeback.
Harford extends to its winning streak to six games and improves to 10-4 (2-0 Md Juco) with the victory. Catonsville falls to 7-6 (1-1 Md Juco) after the loss.
