Pensacola, Fla. – The Harford Fighting Owls women's tennis team dropped its opening match of the JUCO Invitational to No. 14 Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, 8-1, Saturday morning at the Roger Scott Tennis Center.
Harford falls to 0-1 on the year after the loss.

Maria Rey battled but came up just short in No. 1 singles. With the first set tied at 5-5, a controversial call in which one her returns appeared to be in, but was called out by the ABAC player, affected her momentum the rest of the match.
Noemi Aguirre scored Harford's lone point of the day, taking down ABAC in No. 2 singles with a straight set victory.
