The match of the day was at No. 2 singles, where
Noemi Aguirre played against her former team. Aguirre lost the first set 6-2, and had a lead in set two, but Cowley fought back and forced a tiebreaker. She would also have a 6-3 lead in the tiebreaker, but lost the last five points and subsequently lost the match.
