Arnold, Md. – Anne Arundel relied on a four run third and two runs in the fourth to slip by Harford, 8-4, during game two of Saturday's doubleheader at Anne Arundel Community College.
Lexi Buchanan earned Harford its first lead of the day with an RBI-single to left that scored
Olivia Gallimore. After surrendering two runs in the bottom of the inning,
Gabrielle Pfaff, who finished a home run short of the cycle, evened the game up with a double to left that plated
Sam Beeler.
Anne Arundel relied on their power to retake the lead, pushing through six runs in two innings thanks to a one-run, two-run, and three-run home run. Harford's
Jessica Miller flexed her muscle with a solo blast of her own in the fifth, but Riverhawk starter Gracie Culley (7 IP, 3 ER) surrendered just two hits the rest of the way to record her second win of the day.
Harford drops to 0-17 with the loss, while Anne Arundel improves to 3-5.
