Fighting Owls Outshine Lazers

Bel Air, Md. – No. 2 Harford distanced itself from visiting Onondaga with a barrage of goals in the middle of the game, claiming a 19-14 victory over the Lazers, Friday evening inside Harford Stadium.

After Rachel Wilson's goal put Harford up 1-0, Onondaga went on to net six of the game's next seven goals, forcing the Fighting Owls to play from behind for just the second time this season. Harford proved to be up to the challenge, answering with four straight goals to tie the game at 6-6, then a 7-3 run to end the first and begin the second to move ahead 13-9.

Onondaga pulled within three scores with five minutes left, but a trio of goals from Sarah Dudick, Beth Bishop and Sydney McKemy ensured Harford remained on top for good.
