Bel Air, Md. – For the third time in the last five games, Harford scored 30 goals on a visiting team, cruising past the Union County Owls, 30-1, Saturday afternoon at Harford Stadium.
The Fighting Owls had full control of the game from start to finish, scoring the game's first 21 goals.
Owen Consoletti and
Chandler Schmidt led Harford in the scoring department with six goals each. As a team, Harford fired off a season high 78 shots.
Harford's defense suffocated the Union County attack, forcing 34 turnovers and securing 81 ground balls. Sophomore
Shaun Vines topped all defenders with seven ground balls and six caused turnovers.
Harford improves to 6-1 (1-0 Md Juco) after the win. Union County sinks to 2-7.
