Bel Air, Md. – Harford returned home for its final home stand of the 2019 regular season, picking up a 10-1 victory over the Brookdale Jersey Blues, Tuesday evening at the Harford Sports Complex.
Two-run homers by
Spencer Harbert and
Ethan Kiple highlighted the affair, which saw the Fighting Owls get back into the win column for the first time since losing their 32-game win streak back on Sunday.
Harford's pitching staff controlled the flow of the game, with five pitchers combining to allow one run on five hits while striking out 10 Brookdale batters.
Mike Taylor (4 IP, 0 ER) earned the win and sat down three of the 13 batters he faced via punch out.
The Fighting Owls move to 43-7 after the win. Brookdale falls to 29-12.
