Bel Air, Md. – Harford baseball ended its 2019 regular season on a high note, wrapping up a two-game home stand with an 8-1 win over the Camden County Cougars, Wednesday evening at the Harford Sports Complex.
Nine different Fighting Owls made an appearance on the mound during the contest, including a pair of collegiate pitching debuts of sophomores
Ajay Sczepkowski and
Jimmy Nixon. Sophomore
Camden Cregger got the start and earned the win to improve to 4-0 on the year.
Another Sophomore Day moment took place when
Braeden Fausnaught doubled in the first inning, the Harford starting pitcher's first collegiate hit of his career.
Sophomores
Thomas Hojnacki and
Jordyn Smith led Harford at the dish, with both players tallying two hits and driving home three runs. Catcher
Jake Wyandt also notched two hits.
The Fighting Owls move to 44-7 with the victory.
