Arnold, Md. – Harford will look to begin to put the finishing touches on a historic season when they face Onondaga in the semifinals of the 2019 NJCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship May 18-19.
First draw between the Fighting Owls (12-1) and Lazers (10-1) is set for 11:30 a.m. at Siegert Field in Arnold, Md. The winner heads to the championship game on Sunday, May 19 at noon.
The second semifinal features the Anne Arundel Riverhawks (10-3) and Monroe CC Tribunes (7-5). Monroe has laid claim to the last six NJCAA National Championships but was knocked from its perch as the No. 1 team in the nation by the Fighting Owls earlier this season.

Series History
- After losing their previous seven contests to Onondaga, Harford has now won their last two meetings, including a 19-11 victory in last season's NJCAA National Championship semifinals.
- Harford and Onondaga last met back on March 22 of this season, when the Fighting Owls took down the Lazers in Bel Air, 19-14.

- In her seventh season with the program, Harford head coach Nikki Murphy has her team in the national championship picture for the sixth time in her career. Her 56 wins as the lead women for the Fighting Owls are the most in program history.
- Harford's 12-1 mark in 2019 sits only behind the 14-4 record set by the 2016 women's lacrosse for the most wins in program history.
- Leading the Fighting Owls on offense is freshman Sarah Dudick and sophomore Beth Bishop. Dudick leads the NJCAA with 55 goals, while the veteran Bishop sits first in the conference with 28 assists.
- As a team, only Onondaga (22.45) has scored more goals per game than Harford (19.92).
- Harford's defense has also performed well this season, causing an NJCAA leading 171 turnovers while limiting teams to 8.29 goals per game.
