Trenton, N.J. – No. 24 Harford women's tennis capped off its season with another strong victory over Mercer County, knocking off the Vikings 9-0 on Tuesday at Mercer County Park.
Harford finishes its regular season with a 2-10 record, while Mercer ends its 2019 at 1-4.
How it Happened
Much like the two teams meeting in mid-April, the Fighting Owls were handed two singles and one doubles win by default. All six matches which took place were also identical to the ones that took place just a couple weeks prior.
Both the Harford doubles pairings made quick work of its Mercer opposition. Not much of a challenge would come from the Vikings in singles action either, as the likes of
Noemi Aguirre,
Faith Hill,
Camila Lopez and
Maria Lopez dominated as solo acts.
