Joshua Foote's three-pointer with 12 seconds left in regulation sealed Harford's first win of 2020, as a short-handed Harford astounded the Anne Arundel Riverhawks, 66-63, Saturday afternoon inside Jenkins Gymnasium.
Foote's late trey came as part of a game high 20 points from the redshirt freshman. He, along with
Christian Sweazie,
Kyle Harkins,
Anthony Ifeacho and
Eli Curry, played all 40 minutes for the Fighting Owls.
Harford moves to 5-11 (2-1 MD JUCO) with the victory, while the Riverhawks plummet to 4-12 (0-8).
Turning Point
After Foote's three put Harford ahead, Anne Arundel came back down the floor and miss a potential game tying shot from deep to seal their fate.
