BEL AIR, Md. –Montgomery's backcourt scored combined for 58 points in an 83-74 defeat of Harford, Wednesday evening inside the APGFCU Arena.
Conference leading scorer and Montgomery guard Isaiah Jennings finished with 30 points while backcourt teammate Nick Johnson ended with 28. The duo managed to outdo a strong showing from
De'Andre Anderson (20 points, eight rebounds) and
Joshua Foote (18 points).
Harford falls to 6-16 (2-6) after the loss, while Montgomery moves up to 15-5 (7-1).
Turning Point
The Fighting Owls and Raptors were deadlocked at 46-46 just under the 16-minute mark. Johnson and Jennings took control from this point, pushing through 21 of Montgomery's 24 points over the next eight minutes. Harford mustered up just 12 as a team during this stretch.
