CUMBERLAND, Md. – Sophomore
Kyle Harkins fired off a career high 23 points, but the No. 3 Fighting Owls dropped a 110-74 contest to No. 2 Allegany, Saturday evening inside the Bob Kirk Arena in the Region XX Division I semifinals.
Harkins' performance highlighted a trio of strong showings from Harford's guards.
Christian Sweazie finished with 19 points, eight rebounds and four assists, while
Joshua Foote also contributed 19 points to the cause.
The loss means the end of Harford's 2019-20 campaign. They finish the year with a 7-23 record.
Turning Point
De'Andre Anderson's midrange jumper at the under-five mark in the first tied the contest at 26-26. After a couple missed shots from both teams, Allegany sprinted off with 18 of the game's next 19 points to take a 44-27 lead into the break.
