BEL AIR, Md. – The Garrett Lakers plated 11 runs in the final two innings of the contest to take 13-7 decision over Harford in game one of Saturday's doubleheader.
The Fighting Owls took a 4-2 lead into the sixth, but trouble started to mount after two singles and a fielding error flooded the bases for the Lakers. Garrett proceeded from there to score 10 runs on five hits and a plethora of walks by Harford arms to take a 12-4 lead after the dust settled.
Harford drops to 7-3 (2-1 MD JUCO) with the loss and Garrett improves to 5-3.
