BEL AIR, Md. - No. 1 seed Harford men's soccer made quick work of No. 4 seed Hagerstown on Thursday, defeating the Hawks 6-0 in the Region 20 Division I semifinals.
Kye Williams was the catalyst early for the Fighting Owls, scoring a goal just one minute into the first half. The englishman grabbed assists on the next two goals, both of which were scored by
Mason Manzo. A 34th minute goal via
Tyrik Trotman left Harford up 4-0 at the break.
Second half goals from
Ronin Bangs and
Ethan French put the game well out of Hagerstown's reach. Bangs would come in the 64th on a feed from
Tyler Albright, while French struck with 36 seconds left on a pass by
Giovanni Costagliola.
Harford is now 14-3 with the victory and moves on to the tournament finals.
