PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Harford women's basketball picked up its first win of 2021, defeating the Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) 68-55 on Thursday evening.

The Fighting Owls were led by a pair of double-doubles from forwards Patricia Sherrill (15 points, 14 rebounds) and Kaitlyn Thacker (15 points, 10 rebounds). Quren Santiago chipped in 11 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Harford moves to 1-3 on the season.

Turning Point
The women in blue turned in a massive first half, outscoring CCP 24-12 in the first quarter and 15-9 in the second. Thacker and Sherrill combined for 25 points and 20 rebounds over the opening 20 minutes.
