BEL AIR, Md. - In Harford first men's basketball game in 21 months, the Fighting Owls fell 73-47 to the Richard Bland Statesmen inside the APGFCU Arena.

Sophomore guard Nick Parrish led the Fighting Owls with nine points, while freshman Ricardo Ross tallied eight points and four steals. 

Harford drops to 0-1 on the season.

Turning Point
After a pair of made free throws by Nick Parrish with 12:35 in the second, the Fighting Owls would go dormant on offense until their was 6:57 left.

During that time, Richard Bland jetted out on a 16-0 to put the game away before Parrish snapped the run by draining a pair of attempts from the charity stripe.

Box Score Highlights

• Mahlik Munnerlyn and Chandler Johnson led the way with five rebounds each
• Four Fighting Owls ended the night with one block
• Ross and Parish combined to go 8-for-9 from the line while the rest of the Fighting Owls finished 5-for-14
• Richard Bland has won four straight versus Harford
