COLUMBIA, Md. – No. 2 Harford limited the No. 4 Howard to a trio of goals, leading to a commanding 15-3 defeat of the Dragons on Wednesday afternoon.

Jason Roland put on a show between the pipes, making a season high 16 saves on the day. 12 of his saves came inside the first 30 minutes of play.
The Fighting Owl defense was also solid, creating 16 caused turnovers and scooping up 45 ground balls. Leading the parliament were
Freddie Brophy and
Everett Campbell, who combined for seven of each.
Harford got off to its trademark fast start, scoring three goals in the opening minutes of the contest. Howard finally got on the board at the eight minute mark, but
Caden Cote and
Nate Surd picked one goal each to end the quarter.
The Dragons struck first to start the second, but Harford's defense locked down the Howard attack for the next 30 minutes. The Fighting Owls surrendered one goal at the 13:05 mark in the fourth before shutting them out the rest of the way.
A trio of Fighting Owls hit pay dirt in the second quarter to give 8-2 lead at the half.
Cayden Onagi scored the lone goal on a man up advantage in third, then
Ben Ferrell bookended a six-goal fourth for the men in blue to storm away with the win.
Harford is now 4-0 (2-0 MD JUCO) after the victory.
