BALTIMORE, Md. - Five Harford pitchers combined to toss a two-hitter on Tuesday, leading to a 10-0 win in seven innings over the CCBC-Dundalk Lions.
Jeremy Lapp (1 IP),
Nick Hohenstein (1 IP),
Connor Blantz (2 IP), and
Caleb Musco (2 IP) shutout Dundalk over six innings of work. The Lions scraped together a pair of hits in the seventh, but Chris Hamaan (1 IP) retired the side with three strikeouts to finish the game in the seventh.
Harford batters took care of business at the dish, registering 10 hits including three home runs to bookend the game.
After two scoreless innings to start the game,
Reyce Curnane took the Lions deep for two in the third to give Harford the lead. A bases loaded walk and two sacrifice flies raised the advantage to 5-0, then
John McNamee brought home two more via double for a 7-0 advantage after six. The Fighting Owls put Dundalk out of business in the seventh with back-to-back home runs from
Hunter Blair (2 RBI) and
Brelon Harden (solo).
Harford jumps to 14-2-1 on the year, while Dundalk falls to 5-14.
